Marrying too soon causes a broken heart and many disappointments for an individual if not prepared.

• 30% of those who marry before 18 divorce within 5 yrs. and
• 50% divorce within 10 yrs.

Divorce left me with 2 lovely children and a broken heart. What an interesting mix. I admonish anyone who gets married be sure to prepare yourself for marriage as much as you know how. Also, make sure you have what it takes to make a strong attempt to have a healthy relationship with that someone of special significance. And reach for a life-long partner with the same marital intentions.

Thank God I was able to make it through single-parenting and help my son and daughter to become successful adults. Also, remember to enjoy your life before you marry anyone!

  1. Great advice, Mr. Tony! God bless you as you raise your children as a single dad! I agree with your advice to enjoy life and prepare yourself before getting married. Marriage is hard work, but it’s even harder if we don’t have our own individual baggage in check. I got married at 24 and the first year was very tough, especially due to having a baby mere months after getting married! Thank God that we made it and have both grown so much over these past 2 years!
